Is there an age or mileage when vans become VAT free - my googlefoo is struggling with an explanation.

VAT will be due on a used Van if the current owner claimed back the VAT when they bought it as they are VAT registered and allowed to do so.
Meaning any Van bought from anyone that’s not VAT registered would not be subject to VAT when sold on.
