Going to be doing out the van (LWB Nissan Primastar) and job #1 is to get a couple of windows put into the back.

It's got a bulkhead, so not too worried about noise, but the idea of having some kind of ventilation in there is appealing.

Costs are £125 for a standard window, or £225 for one with a sliding bit. Initial idea is one of each, but I'm swithering about just sticking 2 x sliding ones in and having done with it.

Anyone got something similar and/or any tales or wisdom or peril to think about before I go for it?

Cheers
JM

i've got fixed windows. I'd rather have sliding windows if that helps.

as long as you can get ones that don't leak and aren't easy to break into.

I'd go for both, but I carry 3 boys. Passed on the last T5 as no rear sliders (fixable, bargaining point) and no air con (I'm oot).

solid on the sliding door and small opening one on the other side.

If worried about security then get a sky light with 2 solid windows.

Have a look at Cadwells in Preston. Sliding windows for all applications including land rovers, boats, caravans and vans. they made up some sliding windows to my spec and i fitted them. cost me £149.00 for 2 side windows for my vw t4. They are brilliant for ventillation especially if you want to cook/sleep in the back.
