last year under: £400
(no claims, etc)
this year: over £700!!!! 😯
(with Performance Direct)

Merc vito - classed as a truck!!
Any ideas on where to look for affordable insurance?

Just log on to your existing insurer and be a "new" customer. You might be surprised. If it's cheaper then ring up to say that you are moving. Often works.

Try NFU Mutual - http://www.nfumutual.co.uk/

Cheapest for me by far - £28 per month for a Vito (with declared modifications - lowered, remapped, 18's). I do have full no claims though.

Yup, just spotted the 3rd Maserati running around town, lots of the usual RR Sports, Q7s seem to be taking over from Q5s!! Porsche seem to be cheap atm as well ❗ A solicitor/estate agent has just upgraded to an Aston, probably 3 or 4 running around now. For a small town in a supposedly low wage area there are a lot of big cars about 🙄
