I am hiring a van for the weekend and the insurance excess is £500 (with no excess waiver option).
Anyone able to recommend a reasonably priced excess insurance that covers vans?
For a long time there wasn't anything comparable to car excess hire for vans - only a few moments ago I spotted this though [url= http://www.insuremyvanhire.com ]http://www.insuremyvanhire.com[/url]. Can't tell you anything about it other than it exists and that I've book marked it for later.
If you're a cash customer most hire places will still offer damage waivers on the day. So if you can't get a useful stand alone policy just go with another hire co that offers a better service.
I'm a trade / account user and can't get a waiver / excess cover from the company if hiring that way but can if I hire cash rather than account. Its recently gone up to £750 per hire with my supplier and I'll often have 2 or 3 vans on hire at a time so certainly keen to look for cover now that its available
