Our garage has a back door that is the old uPVC door from the house I think, we didn't put it there, it's a solid door but it looks really crap. Thinking of painting it black as don't really want to spend the money to replace it with a decent quality one.
Any one used any uPVC paint and got a decent finish, that lasts a while??
Have a look at bedec msp paint. http://www.bedec.co.uk/
I would avoid dark colours if possible. There are problems with upvc expansion and contraction made worse the darker the colour.
Cheers I'll have a look the link, maybe grey would be better than black then.
At the risk of giving advice that leaves you homeless and all your possessions in ashes..... Look up for techniques for painting plastics using a blow torch - a lick with a flame just moments before the paint goes on improves the bond significantly. I believe (if memory serves me well) that standard gloss can be applied that way.

This is a useful guide.

Wash down with sugar soap, rub it aplenty with wet and dry sand paper and paint it with whatever primer, undercoat and finish coat you have knocking around. Preparation is always the key.
