I once offered him a porkless pie with pastry made using water and not fat
he declined

Truthfully it was ****ing disgusting and expensive as well

Meet the CRUFFIN. It's a croissant baked in a muffin container, stuffed with raspberry jam and a raspberry. I had this in the Woolworths cafe in Cape Town last week. Deliciously calorific.

Looks like prices have shot up on the south coast. £45 for a round "thing"? I would save a tenner and go for a triangle
