Hi

can anybody recomeend a company that will insure (my dad is in hospital long term)

The current policy restrictions are - no theft/damage cover etc, so not really that useful ....

Thanks

*edited after a few comments below(thanks) - current company will not extend cover, they just don't do it. I was hoping to get a near normal policy - esp theft/damage.

My Landlord Insurance covers it.

Have you called and asked how much to extend cover?

Orwell Insurance Services came up with the best deal for me. support@oisonline.co.uk. Some of the quotes I received elsewhere were astronomical.

Try an insurance broker.

I do have unoccupied cover for my mum's house, but it doesn't cover much other it being obliterated I think.

Adrian flux brokers did mine, although there were some exclusions. Some quotes were crazy!

Go to a broker.

I had a similar problem a few years ago and the quotes and additional requirements were ridiculous and covered very little.
