I always though Spaceman 3 were a poor version of Loop.

Seems we're including 80s in this little run down so here's a few from me:

Jesus and Mary Chain - April Skies, Sidewalking, etc.
My Bloody Valentine - anything off Loveless
Sisters of Mercy - This Corrosion
Cult - She Sells Sanctuary
Primatives - Crash
Radiohead - Creep
New Model Army - No Rest
Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar
Sugarcubes - Birthday

What about the farm and groovy train? Genius.
I remember Cast being quite big in that era too with quite a few catchy little ditties.
Must have something by Oasis in there too as they were pretty big back in the day (the first album is really quite good you know).
Roses, Charlatans, Inspirals, Mondays.....

Seen most of the above - living in the Midlands in the late 80's early 90's was ace...JB's (stone Roses, Manics, Ride, Swervedriver, JJ, Stuffies, Levs, Neds, BTTP, Blur etc), Edwards (Senser, Mudhoney, Nirvana, RDF etc) Goldwyns (Carter, Poppies), Hummingbird (Janes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, everyone else) Wolves Civic - everyone...

Looking at all these, you know? If ever there was a genre of music that remains "Of it's time" then 90's Indie must certainly be it. Great back in the day, but some of these tunes are so shite when you listen to them now...And I was a real fan of a lot of these bands. So few of these have stood the test of time

I agree Nick but some of them really do still stand up in my opinion. Not that many but some are still very good.
