Hi all.
I have never posted before but feel i need to pass this on as I have seen quite a few threads lately about watches.
I recently got burgled and almost my whole collection of watches was taken... which leads to the nightmare of dealing with MORE THAN insurance.

I submitted a claim (1st week of Feb) with all valuations by my jeweller ( who I have used for ever)and they promptly ignored most of it, they came back with stupid valuations.
One was more than 50% out so and I debated this and found out they had used a different model watch and a ladies version as the base for the calcualtion... I had to get email from the manfacture to get a realistic value from them...

Items were missed from the valuation, items in production were deemed out of production. Queries took weeks to resolve.

They have sent me letters saying they have not been able to contact me but I received all the other phone calls and they only have my mobile...

Anyway, mini rant over but if you value your watches and dont want to spend hours on the phone dealing with muppets then dont use MORE THAN insurance.

Is this some sort of Google ranking attempt or a genuine rant?

Either way I'm g-shocked at the antics of the insurance company MORE THAN insurance.

On a serious note, what kind of Seiko breaks in to someone's house and steals their watch?

They certainly don't appear to have been very Accurist with their valuations.

this sort of thing really ticks me off, its likely that he paid more than a few quid for the things, but you have to hand it to them for trying it on. Tell them that you are expecting a lot more than the first offer. More than this, good luck its times like this that STW shines. Thanks for the info house ins. due some time soon.

The bloody insurance company is certainly very Casio about the way their handle paying out, bunch of daylight robbers.

I am sure the insurance companies have Calibrated their Movements to rob everyone off.

You guys 🙄 poor dude is trying to give us a chronology of the hard times he's been through, he is now strapped for cash and all you lot do is band together in synchronisation and crown around with poorly timed puns. This forum has really taken a dive, can't you see(master)?
