Twitter out Threads in, but how does it work!?

Prompted by this week's Weekly Word, and feeling equally fed up with X, I've looked at Threads and started err 'threading'?

Twitter ain't what it was, but I understood how it works, but Threads I don't get!

Any insights?

Mm, same kind of thing with buttons in a different order and much nicer people. 🙂
