Do we think it is a hack or maintenance?

The message suggests it isn’t scheduled maintenance so it’s a hack or bodge

Weren't they subject to some sort of ransom attack a while back? You'd have thought that they'd have tip top security after that.

It seems to be specifically Connect that's down.

Nope, it appears everything is down, not just Connect...

It's been down before for various reasons.  Not exactly panic time, except for them

Yep, I was a bit premature there. the status page is completely red!

I can though still access my account from the main Garmin website.

Connect has just updated my overnight health stats so it might be at least partially resolved.

Connect has just popped up my homepage (Windows browser) but has a header up saying that there's an outage. The App's back up on Android & everything's green on the status page.

Yeah, I'm working again... hopefully a minor glitch that was easily rectified and not the start of a complete crash...

Friday night/Saturday morning. I'd guess some sort of system maintenance that took longer than planned or caused a brief outage. I guess that if they've backed it out then they'll have to re-apply it at some point.
