What was that (I think) french childrens series with english dubbing, with lots of sword fighting?
Robinson Cruso, that black and white series with the big theme tune.

The Changes.

A BBC Sci-Fi thing made for children in the 70s. Scared the poop out of me as a kid. Electricity Pylons still give me the willies.

I don't think they would be the only ones annoyed if that happened.

Challenge Anneka.

Also, what was that one where people had to do vaguely Challenge Anneka type things and they were pursued by some bloke in a helicopter who had a laser gun thing on his arm. He had to try and hit the contestants backpack, bit like LaserQuest but outdoors? Someone tell me I haven't dreamt all that!

The Changes

Ooh, I remember that one. Very good and pretty scary at the time.

The French dubbed children's series with lots of sword fighting was the Flashing Blade. Always seemed to be on every summer holiday.

My generation managed to swerve most of the appalling cheap American cartoons. We had quality stuff like this.....

it was called the old grey whistle test because if the old lad cleaner came in whistling a tune from the night before it wascatchy and therefore a winner

Miss both of these. Timeless really, and could still sit alongside their modern equivalents such as The Simpsons and Futurama I feel.

Flintstones
Jetsons
