4400. I really wish I’d known they had net wrapped up the ending before I invested in watching 4 seasons of it. I think there was a reboot but not seen it, I’m still too bitter.
It’s a Knockout. I’m guessing that H&S, risk assessments and the like would make it difficult these days?
It’s a Knockout
Well, I suppose you have Total Wipeout* and the wonderful Takeshi's Castle
*Although I believe they had to film it in Brazil to get round H&S requirements.
Game of Thrones. Loads of lips appearing on YouTube for me, reminding me how fantastic it was, up until it wasn't. So much more mileage was available from everything that had been set up till the final season blootered it.
Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)
Tiswas
Warrior Nun, obviously
Warrior Nun just spent most of her time getting her arse kicked.
Was going to say The thick of it.....but the current gov are doing an excellent job keeping it going
Fraiser.
But I dread how bad the comeback this year might be... It's going to be awful, like Star Trek Picard decades after Next Generation, isn't it? 😥
Rentaghost

That and Project Yewtree.
That and Project Yewtree.
😂
Game of Thrones
It wasn't cancelled. The scriptwriters couldn't be bothered finishing it properly so they just phoned in the final couple of seasons. I would have been much better if it had been cancelled when Tywin Lannister got killed, it was all downhill after that.
Eldorado
Does anyone remember a sci-fi series called (iirc) Hunters ? I really enjoyed that
Team of humans tracking down aliens in human form , that communicated with a series of clicks. Except one of the humans was in fact one of the aliens
Raised by wolves
Seems a lot of the streaming services get expensive series to get subscribers then cancel once people have signed up.
Agree with WDY and Kickstart. How about Swap Shop, Dick Emery and Benny Hill?
Rainbow
Triangle 😉
The Sarah Connor Chronicles - was just getting really good when the writers strike killed it off.
Pretty sure Sliders went the same way....
Stargate Universe (the Robert Carlyle one).
Forgot that one, another that ended mid story....
Six million dollar man
Space 1999
Jim'll fix it erm.. no, hang on…
To be fair, just for one moment ignoring the hideous predatory sex offender, the concept was ace. I’m kinda sad that it’ll never come back due to the festering piece of shot of who hosted it.
Firefly.
Has anyone said Firefly yet? I really liked Firefly, thought it ended way before it's time.
So, Firefly.
TBH space1999 was rebooted for the us market in season 2 which probably killed it off.
Forgot that SU never actually finished as I always get it mixed up with Atlantis.
What bugs me more is leaving it too late to do the sequels people wanted, like Star Wars or India jones.
Eldorado
I liked Eldorado, Marcus, Marcus.
I’m vaguely thinking of making a pilgramage to the set 🙂

Really enjoyed Stargate Atlantis and they finished it off nicely as well.

Person Of Interest
I'd love this to have continued but I think they kind of ran out of ideas and it came to a logical conclusion - shame as I really enjoyed it.
Kickstart and Junior Kickstart could easily be resurrected - Would love that - though it does prompt the question as to how it/they ever got commissioned in the first place? Must have been some trials fans in the Beeb back in the 70/80s.
I remember being took to a trials thing as a kid in the 7o’s, I think my dad was looking for a hobby for me, or more likely fancied one himself.
The kitchen being refitted and a new motor bike appearing was a pretty common thing in our household.

Good call!
Final Space
Talking of Robert Carlyle - Cracker. The episode with him in was brilliant
Santa Clarita Diet 🙁
Seeing as we’re all just shouting out old TV shows. Who remembers one called ‘The Tripods’? Can’t remember what it was about or whether it was any good, but it used to give me the willies as a sprog.
Carnivale. Anybody watch that?
Two seasons of Great Depression era cinematic beauty set around a travelling carnival with plenty of nudity and supernatural weirdness thrown in. Also featured Clancy Brown as Brother Justin, the greatest on screen villain since The Kurgan in Highlander (also played by Clancy Brown).
Rumour is it cost an absolute fortune to make. It certainly looked like it did. Cancelled after two seasons. Just when it was getting going. Supposedly the story arc was planned over four seasons.
John From Cincinnati?
Only one season. I loved it. I still have no idea what was going on but I still loved it.
Totally agree on The OA.
If I could give any show another series (or three) it'd be that one, just so I could find out WTF was going on with Jason Issacs.
Did nobody mention Glow? Actually maybe that would get a wave of my magic un-cancellation wand instead.
And obviously Deadwood was cut tragically short. I must get round to watching the movie, but I'd have to refresh myself on the series first.
