So my sky subscription is due for renewal and I am trying to decide what to do, I have been looking at freesat boxes and now TV. Who has these and what do you think of them? Any regrets leaving sky?

Do you have Virgin available in your area? If so I'd get a price from them and get Sky to give you a deal to stay.
Other than that it depends what channels you watch and how much hassle you're willing to put up with to save some money.

No virgin, the only thing we would miss on sky is Atlantic and the series we get on there, but we can get that on Now tv. That and I like that it records things for me automatically I.e. previous series we have watched. But I don't think that justifies the £60 odd I pay for that and broadband.
