We are rejigging front room and need to move everything to other side of bay window. Cables will need buried or taken outside and back in - Sky, plus booster connector wires etc.
DIY won't be happening, but if anyone knows an honest local pro that would be great.
Can you not just run the cable in trunking around the wall?

Had wondered about trunking but hoping for less visible solution. Trunking probably most cost effective right enough.
It isn't as visible as you think. Get a small bit and try it out don't do what I did though and get the smallest diameter possible as it makes getting the cables in a real struggle 🙂 D shape, in white, on top of skirting looks ok. Are the floors wood? If so lifting a floorboard isn't too difficult.
Thanks. Floors are concrete, currently carpeted but about to be wood, so can't get cables under.
Also just thought can you remove skirting, and stick the cable in the gap at base of plasterboard, then glue skirting back on? Did this in the last lounge.

No worries. If laying laminate you would be removing skirting anyway, or finishing with quadrant (which could be trunking).
