anyone been to turkmenistan - safe enough in a dont travel at night kinda way ? looked on FCO - fairly non committal tbh - looks safer than nigeria looking at that. - no experiance of the stans personally though after a run in with the ukrainian mafia in chernomorsk after my last job im taking my personal security a bit more seriously with work this time!
