Looks lovely McM. I was struggling after breakfast tbh, the breakfast of kings - Eggs Benedict.
Toasted muffin below some griddled dry cure carluke smoked ayrshire bacon, topped with a soft to medium poached egg, and smothered in my homemade Hollandaise sauce. Glorious.
And then I ate another.

Tonight's dessert at the Hoose of Moont was Syllabub. A creamy delight with white wine, sugar and lemon juice topped with chopped walnuts and a cherry.
I love Christmas desserts.

If executed well (as yours appears to be) it's the food of the Gods. Cheap supermarket versions are, ahem, a trifle unnecessary
