Have pass the pig and shut the box for holiday duties, can anyone recommend any equally as addictive but simple games to take on hols for beach duties?

Thanks

Try the banana scrabble there are a few others, they are all quick games without a board
Great for Tavel. Or try Connect4 and Ludo

We play Sausage.

The kids have to answer every question with "Sausage", the loser is the one that doesn't. Its quite funny, especially when you have a 3yo with that "munchkin" voice.

Hairy xylophonist buggerer.
In the nice version drop the X or Z so it's Harry Belafonte.

Perchy, that's maximum points.
U is difficult but you'd be surprised how many times you see Peter Ustinov.

Alphabet... work through the alphabet taking turns each to name a suggestion from your chosen topic. For example: animals, movies, TV shows, etc. As they get older you can make it harder for eg: male actors, solo music artists, song titles etc. You get three lives if you want and max time of say 20 seconds to answer and no repeats.
It's also a mildly amusing game to play with others when you're cycling up a long hill, keeps your mind off the main task.
