I'll be there on Sat eve with my mum. Haven't been to the the manchester velodrome before but if glasgow is anything to go by the best pointer is..... expect the venue to be astonishingly hot (hotter than you are now thinking even though I've said it will be hot) so theres a balance to be struck in the winter between being dressed warm enough to get there and not fainting from heat exhaustion once you get inside, and take something to drink - it can be a very dry dusty atmosphere.

if there is no football on you should be fine parking at Asda, i'm thinking about taking the family. the afternoon sessions are pretty quiet so perfect for taking the kids, it gets very busy on the evenings.
