Reading about getting bikes in 5 Series and Fabia vRSs has got me thinking.
I had a towbar on my now sadly defunct Focus which was ace as I also have a towbar rack. Although I'd hate to get something that ugly on the Skoda, according to the interwebs it does seem that you can get a removable towbar for the Octavia. However, it's all a bit confusing, as although it's theoretically quite easy, there does seem to be some conflicting info on the subject.

Has anyone here ever fitted one to a vRS? How successful was it?[/*]

Secondly, anyone know why there doesn't seem to be anything available specifically for a vRS older than an '04 plate (mine's an '03) - was there a major change to the sub-frame on the vRS at the end of '03 which makes this a problem?[/*]
Any info appreciated.
Cheers!
Hmm mine is a Mk1 with a 1.8T petrol engine but it is an 04 and I do have a tow bar fitted. I was not aware it was any different to the earlier ones.
