ah, would help if you put quotes in quotes Simon! ๐
but what I do not miss is the alcohol fuelled aggressiveness in bars and pubs.
My brother lives in Athens, and it's so weird, in a good way, that you can go to a bar and not have to worry about the 'spill my pint' mentality. Obviously fights happen, but never seen it yet, and seeing families walking about in town at 10pm is so refreshing given the war zones most UK city centres turn into.
I'm tooling up! I'm not taking any risks and I don't care what any one thinks. Just have to choose me weapon now.
1) mini baseball bat
2) crow bar
3) Billy bat
take the lot . Good luck . I hear Turkish shop owners are using baseball bats, good on them seems they have more balls than many police out there.
Reports of rioters entering private houses on Sky news atm.
Ah right - no sooner said than done.
It is quite strange seeing your country fall apart when so far away. Obviously some reports on the news and in the papers, but it isn't wall to wall as it will be back in Blighty.
evans cycles in chalk farm road been looted apparently,
makes little difference but staff were quite helpful for an evans
Evans cycles in chalk farm seemingly ransacked ๐
We need to get some Steam Teains in there!
I don't care how angry you are a Steam Train makes everybody (even axe murderers) happy.
Geoffrey butlers in Croydon has been turned over. Thousand of pounds of bike stuff gone. But then the chavy lads headed to cycle king!
I can't see this ending well...

Least they stopped calling it protesting!
But then the chavy lads headed to cycle king!
I know shouldn't 4x1, but really did make me laugh !
Lidl's been looted too ๐
when do they stop calling it rioting and start calling it looting?
i guess depends on what excuse you want to use and which paper you read.
i think you need police to riot against
when theres no police people just take whatever they want thats looting
Norton - MemberThis is incredible - total breakdown of civil society. Police have been so demoralised by liberal hadwringing over the years that they no longer undertsnd that their job is to protect the population and prevent criminality - I imagine the BNP will be picking up quite a few votes from this one when the backlash from the law abiding majority begins.
iS THIS FOR REAL?

nicely put kimbers.
Rioting might be the aggression before the taking. if there's none to be aggressive too, then let the taking commence.
BBC crew have bin attacked in Croydon; bin given shelter in a Mosque.
Report from Clapham Junction. The same shop that BBC News are reporting on. Shop was on fire. Now it's out. The BBC says 'some Clapham residents told to evacuate'. Yes, the people above that shop. No one else.
There are more people with Nikons and iPhones and iPads on the street than people with hoodies and bricks. I can't believe how the BBC are overplaying it. I was stood outside Debenhams 15 minutes ago and yes, the doors were smashed, but no one was bothering to loot anything.
according to twitter looters in ealing are getting mugged by other looters of their hard earned xboxs
chipps dont turn over to sky news then!
iS THIS FOR REAL?

'What a bunch of chavy knobs.'
Who? Elfin and his gardening mates?
That's a bit unfair. Some of them are really quite Middle Class.
Woow Things have changed i remember many years ago going to Langdon Park School
near by and most of the families hated it there and wanted to get out.
They had a bad problem of people stealing cars and driving them up and down under the garages of
the Balfron Tower.
liverpool now...
Still problems round here Grantway, but not as bad as it used to be. A lot of flats have bin bought up and sold on and a greater mix of people round here now. Balfron and Carradale have loads of privately owned flats, and Glenkerry house is a housing co-op.
It's bin very quiet round here tonight. I think most of the yutes probbly went to have a look at what was going on in Stepney and Bethnal Green tonight. I was worried that Chrisp St market area would get it, but there really is nowt worth looting there at all. Best shop there is Steve's Bestsellers! ๐ฏ
ahh, memories. The first time I properly fell in love was in Tottenham in 1996-7. I remember messing about with her in the park surrounding Broadwater Farm. Happy days. (gets nostalgic)
NEWSFLASH: Betws-Y-Coed is on fire and mild mannered middle aged people are looting the outdoor shops for good quality waterproofs!
It's all gonna be ok folks.
I've just seen Gazza getting into a taxi with a fishing rod and a bucket of KFC, and head off south down the A1.
Never mind Gazza; Bozza's coming back so everything should be fine tomorrow....
OMG Boris has cancelled his holidays? I'm going to bed now knowing his stupid big head of hot air will blow out the fires, only to re-ignite them with the waft from his massive daft fringe.
Interesting Effin how long you been there!
I have heard here-say that Bow is a target tomorrow including Romford.
East Ham where i am, I heard was targeted today including MC Donalds in Canningtown
but can't confirm.
is the last 10 pages worth reading? it was interesting on sat...
