And what a dreadful series it has been. Probably the worst by some margin, and that is saying something given the last few years. However I will be watching again tonight. Why? Because it has a feature on the Ferrari F40, probably my favourite car ever. I've commented on some of the (mostly negative) threads that have appeared on here during the current series and people have said "don't watch it if you don't like it" or "that's what your remote is for" etc, and doubtless they will say it again but I am a petrol head, and despite how terrible the set ups are, and how cringe-worthy the "acting" and interplay has become I love to see fast cars tearing round a track. I could happily watch an hour of Ferrari's driving round a track without any sort of narrative or structure really, actually that might be preferable. I would imagine that many people who, like me dislike it but still watch it are compelled by fond memories of the show and a real passion for seeing exotic cars, stylishly shot, being driven fast. So I thought I would kick this one off, get my retaliation in first as it were. Here's hoping the F40 feature is worth the watch.

The M4 bus lane made sense, removing it just means a shorter 3 lane queue rather than a longer 2 lane queue.

Anyone using the bus lane still beats the other lanes so 'tis slow for the average driver.

WTF > I got wind of Stewart Lee's 'If You Prefer A Milder Comedian...' from a previous thread on Top Gear. The finest piece of stand up I have ever seen.

Going to see him on Sunday night. Can't wait.

If he comes up with any more Top Gear stuff, I'll be sure to report it back. 😉

I gave up on this programme last series, so watched it to see if it had improved, er no it hadn't.

Clarkson loves the sound of his own voice, and I found his bickering with John Prescot embarassing so turned the TV off, and as for that Richard Hammond and the beads round his neck....

Prescott only put the bus lane in so's President Blair had a nice clear run in from Heathrow after his latest Middle East jolly without having to interact too much with the plebs.
