Shamelessly stolen from Ed Oxley on Twitter.

Is it considered bad form to slipstream a (loaded) hearse?

****it the dead aint gonna worry about it. Admittedly if its being followed by the family in a cortège on the way to a hole in the ground it may be considered bad form.

It would because at the (presumed) speed a loaded hearse would be travelling at, there would be no slipstreaming benefit and you would just look stupid. 🙂

I shouldn't think its worth it, don't they normally travel too slowly?

Erm.. don't hearses generally drive at walking speed?

I'm not sure you're going to get much aerodynamic benefit.

It's rude to slipstream anyone without consent IMO.

I followed an ambulance with it's siren and lights on along the M80 this morning - fastest I've ever made it in!

Possibly just as morally reprehensible thinking about it.

You'd have to take your helmet off as a mark of respect surely?
