And if you do it’s because people aren’t used to you! 🙂

Ah, that explains why he tried to kick me!

Having seen the photo with molgrips and saxonrider and not having met any of them I would guess it’s SR on the right in the pic as his appearance fits my preconception of an orthodox priest!

Having met Molface I can confirm your assumption.

While I am not fully recovered from my grief and trauma this has been a huge boost to me. Cycling is my meditation and my medicine. Meeting all these lovely people is also comforting and reassuring. Ive been shown a lot of love and it helps.

^ all through imaginary intermanerd friends. I like this.

Old fashioned use of the word allows @Cougar. My daughter is an English wonk and likes to use words in unusual ways and it's rubbed off.

Decision made. I’m going to have a rest day in Cardiff today. Any locals fancy meeting up? I promise i dont bite really.

Well earned. Sadly I finished work way too late to come out and meet you in person, which I planned to try and do if you were around this way.

It's 39 degrees and you're wearing a bodywarmer?

Am I the only one that would have loved to have been at that table having a beer and talking crap too?😁

I've enjoyed this thread a huge amount, full of positivity and the simple joy of riding a bike.

Can't wait to read about further exploits.

I should add that I’m on TJ’s side re: the cold. Heat wave be damned. Once evening falls, it’s jumper/jacket/proper shirt for me!

He has arrived safely. I was getting worried after messages saying his Sat Nav was having a hissy fit so I rode down the road and accompanied him the last couple of miles to the farm. Apparently my idea of a nice easy ride and his are quite different lol

TJ was having problems uploading Pics using our ultrafast copper cable broadband so I said I would post the obligatory selfie shot for him, plus one of him enjoying the company of his favourite animal 😉

Well I have just bade TJ farewell. 3 minutes later it started raining. It will be an interesting trip over the highest road pass in Wales for him and his trailer 🙂

Hang on. My suggestion of the Bwlch was shot down in flames and you send him up Gospel Pass?!

It is the best route to go on though if he's heading towards Lancashire. More options for much nicer roads in the border areas of Powys and Shropshire rather than having to deal with the A465 and A49.

You’ll have none of that sort of advanced bastardry here in Lancashire eh Binners?

How about one in the Rose und Crown followed by a trip to The Shoulder? 😉

i hope you were gifted a sheep to stick on your trailer.  Have you checked....

Who is the next STW'er on the list or have you managed to find a route to avoid them for a bit?

Wherever you go you must have a pint of Butty Bach.

It's a local law

That sounds like a plan, then maybe up to the Eagle and Child, over the other side of the valley?

Fair play for going over the pass, it's a bugger in't it?! You'll be in Engerland soon, have you had your jabs? 😉
