Drive as fast as all the other cars no matter what the potential hazards might be. It is the only way.

Cover your eyes, foot down and hope for the best.

Drive as fast as you think is appropriate* regardless of speed limits. To do otherwise is simply to admit you're a bad driver. Keep mumbling about "Nanny State" and "Stealth Tax" at all times.

*Your own unsupported assessment of your driving excellence is all that counts in determining appropriate. Who knows better than you what a driving god you are?

Same as in the snow:

Tailgate the car in front while talking on your mobile and trying to sort out your children who are squabbling in the back of the car

How about use of indicators? Is there a paticular technique i should be attempting to master?

You mean the flashing lights? I thought they were just free parking lights (but only when used near Zebra Crossings).

MF: Not true. They're for telling people the direction you've already started to move in. Or to tell them the last direction you turned in. Or to tell them the direction you thought about going but changed your mind.

Unless you are at a roundabout when they stop working altogether.
