Isn't Elba in the running to be the next Bond? But what the SIS would have to do with nobbling some of the (extensive) Bin Laden family is a bit of a leap - the CIA now... hmmm 😯

There is no way al Qaeda could have done that. And given the families close ties to Bush and American intelligence no way any western agency would have done it so mechanical fault or pilot error ..

So this just appears to me to be a load of [s]nutjobs[/s] people attempting to do some maths so that they can, in the most tenuous of ways, link all sorts of world events into one massive conspiracy?

Just to add, there has been a crash at Biggin Hill today as well - Spitfire heavily damaged but pilot okay. What with the Gnat incident, these things seem to happen all at once. Also it would seem the pilot had a bloody lucky escape.

Yeah, still pretty impressed the pilot survived that. Doesn't look like it was a controlled crash landing onto the airfield like some of the reports suggested.

Aren't there about (random number alert) 500 people who can claim to be a Bin Laden? Given that the family is bloody wealthy, and bloody wealthy people tend to have private planes, some of the "crashy" ones will have Bin Ladens on them, won't they?

It certainly could, but given experienced pilots are somewhat bemused by how such a crash should occur, it would be foolish to dismiss the potential for foul play...

I heard a rumor that the pilot made a mistake. Boring I know but JHJ would never believe anything so bland.
