OK, I can't seem to watch a vimeo. It freezes every 2 seconds so just give up. Similar problem with the Youtube mtb links that crop up on here.
Why?

Edit - is it cos of the crappy BT broadband snail speed I receive?

best thing is to pause the video till the background bar goes right across, meaning the whole video is downloaded, then play...
(and yes, slow 'broadband' will make it jerky)

Or a tired computer, if my old iBook had a full hard drive then video got jerky, consistently if that makes sense, everything just looked like an animation.
sfb's advice is what I do when download speeds are getting annoyingly slow.
