OMG, if impending Top Gun was exciting enough, there's more Cruise-alicious entertainment on the horizon!

I digress, but:
Tom Cruise is 7 (SEVEN) years older than Jacob Rees-Mogg.....
Madness!!!

Anyone remember LA Noire? Cruise's expressions after the line "you need to pick a side" looks like Cole during an investigation.

Darlton Quarry, Stoney Middleton

You can see in the trailer, the train goes off a broken bridge but the bridge is CGI - "built" around the metal framework. There's quite a few videos online of it, there were a fair few people camped up there watching the stunts.

Also - BRING IT ON!

MI 7 and 8 (Dead Reckoning: Part 1 and DR: Part 2) were supposed to be filmed back-to-back as a final "double bill" for the franchise, released in summer '21 and summer '22 respectively. Covid got in the way of all that.

You just KNOW that the clip of him jumping a motorbike off a cliff was just part of his commute.

Here's hoping for a Union Jack parachute....

Is the correct answer.  Cruise seems to have a super firm grip on what this franchise should deliver.  I can't imagine it will even slightly suck.

Is anyone else unable to unsee Simon Pegg as being in Hot Fuzz 🙂

To me he'll always be Tim Beasley.

It'll be a big screen action film, say what you like about Tom Cruise, but he doesn't really stray too far from what he likes to do, and what he does well, which is big budget, big screen action stuff, the MI films have been daft for a while, but they don't take themselves too seriously, which is a good thing as we already have to suffer the Fast and Furious stuff for that!

The standard was set with the Mini in Bourne.

which is a good thing as we already have to suffer the Fast and Furious stuff for that!

Yep, with the exception of the The Rock, the rest of them seem to take it way too seriously!
