I have an Avon dinghy that we sometimes row up the river in the summer. I have just bought a small outboard for it and intend to get a river licence (never bothered before ).

I need third party insurance to get the licence. Can anyone recommend a cheap company to use?

I use Navigators and General at work. I'm fairly sure they do direct too and are cheap.

I had Noble for years then when my kit was worth bugger all I stopped. Last year I bought a new windsurfer so I went back to them. About a week later I had to ditch my rig in the sea. About £800 worth. They paid out without a grumble within the week.
