You could book lunch at Zplage at the Martinez Hotel and then hang out on their beach. Was very nice as I remember but maybe a bit spendy not sure if I paid.

Not too shaby!

Oh, and you could do a day trip to Monaco. Top tips would be to try and eat at Stars & Bars (burgers etc) then walk up the hill to the open air cinema which is very cool - tiny place with the movie projected on the screen attached to the prison! When we were there Mika Hakinnen and his family were 5 seats away

We stayed in Cannes la Bocca for two weeks last year, favourite beach was down coast a bit at Thoule sur mer, has a small under water reserve where you can do a snorkel tour round some marked buoys or rent a SUP to mess about on.

Kids liked Camp Trapeur with high scramble nets in trees and ponies. There are some nice hikes in the hills just behind Cannes that were empty - I found it was nice to get away from the extravagant Ferrari revving, super yachts and heliport posing of Canne proper. The Croix des gardes parc above Cannes was nice for a wander and some views.

If you drive north a bit there is a great spot on Lac st cassien where they have a thing like Total Wipeout on the lake, not sure what it was called but good fun.
