Quite right too, it shouldn't be there.
I used to have an olympus OM40 that had a little critter (dust mite?) that I could see wandering about when I looked through the viewfinder. It was in there for months!

me too, but it will have been on the focussing screen 🙂
I had some foreign object on the pictures in my old film camera. My dad told me it was camera mites, I thought he was pulling my leg.
