bought a pack of 8 apple & cinnamon fruit & grain bars from morrisons last tuesday £1.49(the last time i rode my bike).around the 24 mile mark was feeling a bit knackered,so stopped and had one of the aformentioned bar of the gods 😉 my (all powerful deity 😉 twas like tasting paradise.well let me tell you i didn't stop at one.after 4 of the heavenly delights,i carried on with renewed vigour/and sense of purpose i can tell you. seriously though they are lovely.what food indulgence have you found that has done the same for you? 🙂

Had a fantastic sirloin on Saturday from my local butcher. Cost £16 for two steaks and 10 bacon rashers, but it was well worth it. Not sure it improved my riding ability though.

finbar, what with having to carry a camping stove, gas and frying in yer rucksack as well I'm not surprised... 😉 or did you eat it raw at the trail side ? 😯
