[Closed] Thermostatic Radiator Valves - Adjustment

Had the plumber round ages ago and he took the top off the TRV and adjusted it so it doesn't run so hot (it was bloody hot even at half the max). Anyway, he did it too much - how do I put it back a bit - can't find any instructions on the web - yet.

Isn't it the other end you adjust, the lockshield valve.
Should be adjusted for a 10 degrees temp (approx) drop between inlet and outlet.

thinking about your problem some more these (thermo-valves)are set in the factory..I'd be surprised if you find instuction...other than trial and error fiddling with the expansion device in the valve head

The temp adjustment only affects the room temp which the TRV shuts off NOT the rad temp.
Sounds like your rads need balancing.
