I'm taking my daughter and her friend to Alton Towers on Friday.

Now it's the first time I've been for 12+ years, and the first time since I found out I had high blood pressure.

Now those big lists of warnings before you get on the rides - are they there just to cover their arses or isn't it worth the risk!?

I always enjoyed a big coaster, but don't want my daughter to be finding her own way home! ๐Ÿ˜•

Depends - do you actually get seriously scared on a theme park ride? Only you know the answer to that.

I get nervous as that's kind of the point, but not "oh poo I'm going to die" level of scared! ๐Ÿ˜€

I may stick to the Runaway Train and leave Oblivion.

I am not a doctor, but I doubt it.

Wife has have mega high blood pressure even with medication. We have a Merlin pass and visit Thorpe Park and Alton Towers often. Unfortunately it has had no
effect on her health. ๐Ÿ™‚
