They had an RPG in previous series.
But I did find it hard to hear some of the dialogue over the shooting.
I think I'm only watching it now so I have something to complain about on the forum...
I think the last episode was the best of the series so far, that's not saying much though. I'm hoping 'the King' gets hit by a few .50 cal bullets but somehow I doubt it. I am liking Daryl's continued complete lack of any moral dilemma, although they seem to be trying to create that in virtually every other character.
Best series for a while ..full of action ..
What are you looking for!?

He'll be fine, some of his red shirt subjects shielded him with their bodies, because as we know MX armour can stop anything thrown from a Pistol or Assault Rifle, but to stop a .50 you need some flesh too.
Is Negan still stuck in the portakabin though? Three episodes later, will we ever find out?
Cheers Martin ..
You will be telling me next that the zombies aren't real .. 🙄
Might as well not be, TBH.
Maybe their shooting accuracy isnt as bad as you think ..
Have you ever seen anyone strip down & clean a weapon ..no wonder they are firing all over the place..
( does that help to make things better ?)
I've kind of persevered with it just because really but this series is really a bit poo so far and feels liked it's treading water.
I'll give it a few more episodes if it is still this poo, I'll bin it off.
Still waiting to see if Gabriel has got his shit pants on or not

I reckon... another 3 - 4 eps to the mid-season finale and then we'll find out.
They only make 3 decent episodes a year now.
I’ve not seen any of this series yet. Sounds like it’s gone down hill since the last series. That’s an achievement in itself as the last one was dire
Dire compared to what?
Does anyone remember the Hollywood writers' strike series where the plot was basically "they wander round some woods for a bit", back when zombies were the foe?

That wasn't the writers strike (strike was 07 and 08, TWD started in 2010) but yes the first half of series 2 was awful. They sacked the driving forced behind it Frank something or other, anyway - he wanted a very upmarket feel for it, like series 1, 6 or so episodes a year like a mini series with a big budget - but they wanted more, a lot more - series 2 cost half as much as series 1, and was twice as long, so they spent half a series camped on the roadside (the same roadside as they show every other week now) making trips into the woods looking for a lost girl.
It's been the same ever since to varying degrees - Frank whatnot said it needed a big budget and decent paced episodes, but that duth butter no parsnips when it comes to making money so they make lots and drag it out and cut corners with the visuals.
Well, I enjoyed last nights episode. Stand-out moment was Father Gabriels "I'm here to take your confession". Man, he looked creepy!!!
And the helicopter put in an appearance. I guess we next get to find out what side the Dumpsters come down on.
It was alright. Again, you can tell they've blown the budget already. No shots of the hundreds of walkers engulfing the compound, just a few hand-selected ones for Negan and Gabriel to get past (cue the boring zombie guts exposition). Half the episode with just a couple of characters having a deep chat for cost reasons.
As for Daryl and Rick having a scrap and blowing up all their hard-won guns, ridiculous.
I enjoyed it ..not really any different to the format in any of the series before this ..they have to lay down foundations and tell a story...it can't always be full of action .

Compared to a lot of the content on Netflix and Amazon Prime. One of its major issues is budget, another is that when it first came out there wasn’t much like it. Now we’re spoiled for choice and it’s basicaly devolved in to The A Team meets a Soap Opera that occasionally has zombies in it.
I’ll probably watch it at some point though.
Tried to watch last night’s episode but I got as far as Gregory getting a grilling from Negan. I’m sorely tempted to give up on it & just stick to Z Nation - at least that has a sense of humour
I'm sticking with it until Rick makes Negan his bitch ..oops ..I mean if that ever happens ..ahem 😳
I watched S1 Ep1 a few years ago and didn't bother with Ep2. Really didn't connect with it. Watched it again last week in the hope I'd want more but it was just plain dull. I love Zombie stuff but really don't get the WD love in.
The best 10seconds of the entire series ..if not every episode so far ..
" baby doll you won't ...."
Followed by Daryll in a truck
Classic ..
😆
Jeeeeez, this is dragging now isn't it ?
Im still enjoying it for what it is ..no preconceptions.
It has though taken second place to my now current favourite ..Peaky Blinders
Just finished it...well it was background noise that barely held my attention. I've honestly never seen a show that took me from awe and intrigue in series one through to really feeling involved with the characters, suspense, tension, horror, totally addicted to couldn't care less and what a load of absolute crap. It's been ruined and can't see me bothering with the second half of the series as there are so many other better things to watch.
The trouble with the show is there is no light and shade any more. In the first few series, they weren't all badasses, they were vulnerable, made mistakes, there were more children. Over time, the gentler, more interesting central characters either got killed or became unstoppable badasses.
So now it's just unstoppable badasses facing off against each other with automatic weapons with apparently unlimited ammo. And I don't care whether any of them live or die. Even the latest character to apparently cop it, who TBH you should actually care about, as he's one of the original group, didn't really evoke any response in me.
Did anyone else see it through to the end. Boy oh boy, did they drag it out.
It is, now pish
Fear the walking dead is back with major crossover!
Finding yourself fast forwarding through a season finale is never a good sign
