You're right about Carey but then it's a once in a lifetime role. And no-one else could have done it.

Jim Carey is really good when he's not playing Jim Carey. Inspired, and brave, casting.

It's very thought provoking.

Although as soon as I see Jim Carey, I just can't stop thinking Ace Ventura.

Eternal Sunshine is probably his best film, I do have a soft spot for his daft stuff too, mainly because I grew up watching him.

The Number 23 was rubbish however.

Good morning Vietnam comes to mind. Then again, some brilliant humour away from the more serious side of it!

I think I'm the only person in the world that thinks it's the worst film of all time. Terrible.

Far better as a comedy actor. I Love You Philip Morris was very good and he was superb in Lemony Snicket

In a similar vein i quite liked Will Ferrel in Stranger Than Fiction.
