Are you some kind of forensic psychiatrist, Haakon? That was one pretty astute observation. I'm sure that you're right on the personality disorder bit but how would you start a thread that would be a troll of trolls? Is it just starting a thread with the intention of winding people up, or is there more to it? (not looking to wind people up just interested in seeing some humorous responses)

Well seeing as you asked: I went round Inners today on my rigid singlespeed. Got to the top and there were these couple of guys on meta 5.5s. Gave them a 5 minute headstart them made them eat my dust.
Most of the trolling that you see here is really quite crap and not well thought out. I think I've seen only one or two good trolls, the rest are just dumbasses who endlessly repeat themselves. No class, no style.

Anyway, back to the subject of trolling and forgetting don simons pathetic attempts at trolling - using someones momentum to take them away from your child that they're trying to grab is always a good one.

There's an awful lot of 'trolling with hindsight' on here.
A troll has two parts as Ernie says, and when the replies start to become more and more insulting, the troll has been achieved successfully.

Probably when you're singled out for special treatment, stalking or customised attacks, but it is difficult to know.
