FWIW I have 3, Oasis, St Peppers (agreed with above, not the best Beatles album by some margin), Pulp Fiction (compilations are lazy option).

I have 3 it's neither the best or the worst list I have seen. I wouldn't say sergeant pepper is even one of the best Beatles albums. I would put Heroes and Villains in my top ten though! 😉

Okay, I've given it some thought and, as was intended when they published the article, here's my "ten albums every bloke (?) should own" list. I've invented a new rule for myself where they have to be "proper" albums, no soundtracks, compilations or Greatest Hits. Flame away....

5) Massive Attack: Blue Lines

Actually given I have just under 500 CDs and about the same again of MP3 derived music, I think 10 albums is somewhat limited. I probably listen to more than 10 distinct genres. And I reckon I have a small music collection (though my wife doesn't)

Over my 10-year career I've worked on MTV, 4Music, and hosted the V, Homelands, iTunes and Isle of Wight music festivals. I've hosted radio shows on XFM and Capital FM, and like to think I have learnt a thing or two about music.

Hmm well I'm a big fan but accept Trout Mask, isn't going to be everyone's cup of, er, milk. Maybe it should be in most important albums - Zappa's Freak Out too.

The only thing we can agree is that DJ's list is very odd.

Pet Sounds and Revolver are clear top candidates.
