If you want to be out-ridden by my 10yo, I can lead down to the labyrinth. Both boys are now Swinley veterans... ๐ A stop at the Gully is mandatory, however.
Phil ygm...
mrs consequence tends to swear at the track/woods/mud/general surroundings a lot as she tries to ride through the pain barrier.... i advise letting your kids ride with the fast people if you want to protect their innocence...
in the interest of their innocence i recommend keeping yeti back in a medium group ๐
EDIT - dont know if anyone's mentioned yet but parking at the look out is free. (cheers for the email again Darren/DJ)
meh, what, I can do polite, I can be pleasent, I'm pretty innocent myself!
I might just sit at the cafe drinking frappacinos bigging up my past riding achievements anyway.

See I am innocent!
[Edit] Ahh c'mon, what was wrong with that^^, eh? [Edit]
how fast is fast?
Like Steve Peat on EPO mate.
TSY... im bringing a tow rope so you can pull me along, might even drag the brakes on up-hills for a chuckle
Phil, that assumes that I actually ride a bike regularly, or that you fancy going reeeallly slow.
Don't make me break out the street talk Phillip!
I merk ya up blad!
was that "phillip" with a double "l" in the middle... what do you take me for, some kind of FREAK?!
anyone bringing a go-pro type thing or camera along?
sorry Flip ๐ณ
I was upset as it's true, I'm not even a real Yeti. I hear my father is a big foot. Hopefully I'll find out on Sunday...
"My daddy is coming [s]home
on July 14th.[/s] to Swinley on December the 5th.
My birthday is [s]July 14th.[/s] not on December the 5th.
I'm gonna see my daddy
for the first time ever...
on [s]July 14th[/s] December the 5th."
If I don't bring some lurkers with me on the Sunday, we're watching Con-Air Saturday night!
Currently trying to work out if I can come or not. Not looking likely at the moment. ๐
rich - you have a lift if you need it, room in the pick up for 4 extras.
I've even moved con-air to the top of the dvd pile in preparation.
Hey phil - just a thought, this is going to be 'adults only' isn't it?
My language can be pretty shocking, as can some of the Soft Southern Shandy Drinkers contingent. ๐ฏ And, of course, some of the Forum behaviour has to be seen to be believed. Guys just needing to let off steam and all that ...
I'm glad your missus swears like a trooper too!
It's a broad church on here ...
'adults only' and no badgers
funniest thing was her swearing at the sand in the summer because "what *ing idiot puts sand in the woods?"... its not *ing natural is it?!"
Physical adults? Surely you can't ban me on my mental age?
Was that thought brought on by people voluntarily watching 'Con Air' c_g?
Dez - what's 'Con-Air' ?
The opposite of air con?
A film admired by 10 year olds throughout the land ๐
anyone bringing a go-pro type thing or camera along?
Mr Poddy takes excellent pics - I guess he could be persuaded?
Why did I just read that as Mr Proddy?
desmond tutu is allowed, that is all x
Tutu and a suede jacket as the dress code?!?
I'm not wearing a tutu for nobody!
Oh Go on then, I'm in. I know the area well too, so let me know if I can be helpful?
I'm not wearing a tutu for nobody!
Please Dez, pwetty pleeeeeaz. I'll resist the urge to quote Con-Air at you and say 'thanks for the heads up' repeatedly.
Jeez, this is gonna be some gathering of weirdos. ๐ฏ
I will feel totally out of place. ๐ณ
I will feel totally out of place.
Yeahp, you'll feel like the weird one, amongst the circus of freaks!! ๐ฏ
It's not my usual "window" for riding but I'll see if I can get a pass (just to show some moral support for Snr Consequence). I have been known to lead people into the Labyrinth in the past ... and they followed.
andy? is that you?
Ohhh jeezus. What's happened? Desmond Tutu? Lordy lord.....
Yes, I was planning on taking some pikkchures. ๐
(But I'm not leading a group. I always get roped into that and I cannae be rrrrsed to be honest! ๐ )
Phil - t'is me ๐
TSY = bastard
Everyone else... it's true, I am! When you see him be sure to thank him for the h... ๐
Snow permitting, my 'tache will be wheeling its way up the M3 on Sunday by the look of it. It could be alone on the journey, as the good Dr will be up that way anyway and El Mulletus will be donning the lycra and making the journey from the West alone.
Has anyone got a duster for a long forgotten bike? ๐ณ
horay ๐ DrBike/Andy is basically the man that welcomed me into the world of mtb, he's responsible for my new weight loss, level of motivation and my presence on this forum.... so feel free to blame him for my ramblings ๐
it'd be great to have you along!
I'll see what I can do, these days I have little input into the decision making process.
