Great posts, the little girl and her toy lion particularly give a Christmassy lump in the throat. It's heartbreaking when a child loses their favourite toy. I've found a couple, a little plush Orca by the side of the road, still with a label attached, and a little plush hare, on a cycle path. I felt really sad when I saw them, a child somewhere in tears after finding them lost. I picked them up and kept them, this was long before Twitter, et al, so they've gone to a good home, rather than falling to pieces in the weather.

That bear story is really nice. Hope they haven't sent it Royal Mail though. It would probably be destroyed as a dangerous animal
