I can walk to Waitrose and get fresh pasta and walk home again in less than 10 mins.

Walking to the shop don't impress the laydeez. 8)

If you have winter MTB shoes or ski boots it's a "must have". The classic metal one obviously.

Anyone who uses a pasta roller and thinks using a grinder/home espresso machine 'is a faff' is a hypocritical cretin who needs a slap (with a dolphin friendly line caught fish)

I sincerely hope it's toe-nails.

Otherwise, it'd go well with that heating gadget with the horns.

Is that ^^ a metal temporary Toe Nail?

I could do with one of those, my right big toenail is about to come off.

Is plain old dried pasta just fresh pasta that has been dried?
dunno, quick google and I can't find the info, thought it was in an old STW actually, diet/training article. Pretty sure they said durum wheat pasta was the one to go for, google suggests durum pasta for carbo loading before a race but other pastas are better for general nutrition.

I said I wanted a pasta maker for Christmas. Good job I spotted my typo before I posted my letter to Santa

I asked for one for Xmas and got an imperio proper one. Broke the cheapo one I had before so it was a considered choice and worth the expense. Plus food is one of my main hobbies, and cooking is how I relax in an evening. fresh pasta tastes amazing!

5 mins to make the dough.
60 mins in the fridge to rest.
10 mins rolling and ravioli making. You could do tagliateli in a couple of minutes.

Job done.

If I spent that long getting to the point of cooking, then I'd be done!

Those boots = that short prick from top gear, and about as trendy as your average archeologist on time team.

I can't help but agree. A part of my soul suddenly felt all warm and tingly when I watched one of the videos.

There was one on Flog it recently. Very William Gibson. There's also an antique shop in Glastonbury that specialises in instruments has, or had, several in the window.
