So many threads (see what I did there) about what to wear and what not to wear, can we condense them all into one place to rival Trinny and Susannah...
My starter for 10 is that shoes and belts should match colour, and if not possible (eg red Chuck Taylors) a black belt is the way to go.
I wear whats comfy and sod the rest of you! 😛
Superdry = "hey, look, I'm still cool. What's this you're playing kids, it's got a good beat!"
Clean and ironed.

Happens to us all eventually......
Everything looks good when paired with dungarees...

You can't see my belt as I never have my shirt tucked in.
Right
Brown shoes are for the country.
Never wear jeans and a jacket, never wear jeans if you are over 30 yr old
A shirt with a collar must always be tucked in and worn with a tie.
Basically its the opposite of Clarkson. If clarkson would wear it then its wrong
You've done it now..
and...............
Nothing with any advertising / visible labels on it.
No t shirts with slogans
At least one item of clothing per outfit that is not a boring dull colour
No overpriced sunglasses
No man bags, man buns, beards to be neat and clipped

Why worry about what to wear when there are so many other people desperate to do it for you?
Apart from the sunglasses and shirt tucked in pieces, I agree with TJ
Which way to the decontamination suite?
I agree with TJ
remind me, is that for or against Helmets?
and is it a Brown helmet for town or country?

Realised I was lacking colourful trousers so I bought some tight red ones this week.
Oh Alan
Black socks ??
For someone who is supposed to be an advocate of free will, I find TJs views very contradictory. Unless he is being tongue-in-cheek or trolling?
Wear what feels right. All this brown for the country, always tuck your shirt in, no jeans over the age of 30? Really?!?
Free will and dressing well are not mutually exclusive .

Father-of-one Tom Logan opted to wear a plain button-down shirt instead of a garment bearing the Superdry logo with Japanese characters spelling out the words ‘increasing girth’.
🙂
Shoes and belt should match if possible.
Sports wear is only to be worn to do sports.
Whatever you wear, make sure it's ironed and in good condition.
There is a big difference between dressing in relaxed clothing and being scruffy. The former is fine, the latter is not.
Wearing shoes is fine. Wearing trainers is fine. Wearing those horrible in between trainer/shoe hybrid things is not.
Hats and sunglasses are not to be worn indoors.
The only people who look good in white socks are pro cyclists, you're not one so don't wear them.
Every man should own a good, well fitted suit. Even if you only wear it for weddings and funerals it doesn't matter, you still need one so it might as well be a good one.
Shoes are important, buy good ones, polish them, they set off any outfit.
You may not like that people will judge you on how you dress but they do. So make sure they judge you in a positive light.
Sportswear should only be worn when playing sport. Or travelling to the playing sport location. It is rarely acceptable to wear such clothing at other times.
If you don't wear jeans over 30, what do you wear?
OK, mostly I wear shorts, bit I'm intrigued as to what I should be wearing on my legs at the office/house
Oh Antonio
Spots and strips ??

As an Essex boy this doesn't apply to me or me bruvs... but does help prove the rule 🙂

So, mtb shoes on the way back from riding is fine, then.
😉
Strictly SHARP skinhead inspired look when on an evening out with Mrs Marin otherwise hoodies and jeans. Sometimes I do wear my shirt tucked in but I'm still slim enough to do it 😆 However belt is black.
Just bought a plain grey hoodie recently and I,m 53 years of age!I do,however, live in central Middlesbrough and therefor look like the locals(Except I tend to wear it at the same time as I,m wearing my black brogues).
Does everyone else not wear there beanie indoors to keep warm?
Just bought a plain grey hoodie recently
Me too, I'm 50.
It's a Vulpine Merino one. Wear it with DM's, not brogues though.
Different opinions is what makes things interesting. I firmly believe that tucking in T-shirts or shirts when paired with jeans should be a criminal offence. It just looks odd to me. If you're dressing casually, then be casual about it. Totally agree with not wearing hats and sunglasses inside though.
Never wear jeans if your over 30?!?!? My punctuation can't fully express how much I disagree with that! Maybe not stonewashed or baggies but surely there is a place for a decent darkish blue pair of denims?
Don't wear your wellies to church
Pig catching coat stays in the barn
orange bailer twine on trousers for casual engagements, green for formal attire
Wash your vest weekly at most or you'll not get the wear out of it
I wear very little else than blue jeans! And I tuck in my shirts, think un-tucked shirts look ridiculous, or at least they do on me being quite slim
