I was 18 in 1980 and many of my formative years were in the 80s-some of the best and worst times of my life. Here's my contribution.

I remember going on a date with a girl in 2002 and she took me to Jabez Cleggs in MCR because it was an 80s night. When I asked her what music she liked she replied "80s music" -yes but what in particular? "80s music" A night of mainstream drivel later I deferred on the second date option.... 🙂

is this still running?..

have a pet shop boys pastiche with better lyrics!

Counting coins on the counter of the 7-11,
From a quarter past six 'til a quarter to seven,
The manager Bevan starts to abuse me
Hey man, I just want some Muesli,

I'm going through a Flight of the Conchords phase..

When I were a nipper, you were either in to Simple Minds or U2. I chose the former.

Half Man Half Biscuit have nice things to say about Mötley Crüe, tü. (See what I did there?).
I’ve only got 3 bullets and there’s 4 in Mötley Crüe
