Seems Ok.

I introduced my eldest to the film the other night, Henson must of smoked some good stuff I forgot how weird it gets.

The original is a weird film, there's nothing else quite like it. It looks incredible, the story is slow, & the Skeksis are proper nightmare fuel.
It's a film that has stayed with me though.

Can't wait...assuming all 10 episodes will be available so I'll be watching it tonight with my kid!

Tried watching the original film on Netflix the other night. The fact it needs a ten minute voiceover at the start isn’t a good thing. Very trippy and great work, but I got bored after a bit and ended up turning it off. I’ll give the first episode a go tonight, mainly to appreciate the visuals and hard work that must’ve gone in to it.

It’s apparently darker than the original, sadly I don’t do Netflix or Prime, so I won’t get to see this, unless it gets syndicated elsewhere.

I'm really looking forward to this, are all episodes available at once?

Not sure how it can be darker than the original film.. Brilliant piece of work.

Jesus, now in confused.

I thought it was Never Ending also. The horse in the swamp I mean?

Can we narrow this down to one movie at least? I know it's not Black Beauty.

Was Bowie in this one?

I thought Black Pearl did that Naked in the Rain song. Maybe Henson do the video for that?

I was a tad disappointed in it. Carnival Row was good though.

Fell asleep watching the first episode. The eyes and the way the mouths (don’t) work make the Gelflings look like they are high as shit. Perhaps there is a spice problem on Thra.

I watched the first episode the other day for nostalgia's sake. I thought tonally it matched the original perfectly, but I realised that even though I remember loving the original film, it's for kids. This new stuff is for kids too, and it didn't hold my attention.

Just watched the original film for the first time, not really sure it was worth the 90mins...

Read about this - all done with puppets. Very clever, but not sure it’s my sort of viewing.
