Excellent. I have always refused to watch it on the grounds that it was incorrectly titled "The Bill".........instead of the correct term "The Old Bill"

Was it any good ?

Good. It lost it's way a long time back.
Though they should start a new series with Reg Hollis as a private detective.

Ernie; would you have preferred it if it had been called 'The Filth'? 😀

It's always been a bit lame, really, to tell the truth. Hardly CSI, Hill St Blues or CHIPS, was it?

😕 No Talkemada - The Old Bill would've of been fine.

And I also prefer my bobbies to be whistling on the beat - like what they used to do in old days ......

I did some work on the set of The Bill in Merton, South London a couple of years ago. Not very glamorous but the canteen served good, free food. Claire Goose was it it at the time and she still looked pretty good. Wonder what will happen to the set (and people) now.

they should start a new series with Reg Hollis as a private detective.

Only if they let him look like he does off duty:
