... what is your choice?
I'm going for Nancy Sinatra's Bang Bang in the opening sequences of Kill Bill Vol. 1.
Bob Dylan-The times they are a changing.Watchmen.
The Doors-The End.Apocolypse Now.
The George Baker Selection-Little Green Bag.Resevoir Dogs.
Isaac Hayes-Theme from Shaft.Shaft.
"People are Strange" by The Doors. The Lost Boys.
EDIT: Too slow! 😀
The Lost Boys was 1987 ??? 24 years ago ?? Suddenly I'm feeling really old.
Sexy Beast.
Peaches.
Johnny Nash, I can see clearly. Grosse Point Blank.
jon1973 - I feel your pain! 😕
Kato, re my earlier post.I now want to know
Who is he? 😉
I saw Die Hard with a Vengeance in a cinema in Manhattan when it first came out.
Platoon - Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings
Die Hard is a nice try, but I don't think anything comes close to this
Original version is worth a watch too
+1 The Doors The End in Apocalypse Now.
Trainspotting with Lust for Life is cracking too
My favourite would be Rosie Perez dancing to Public Enemy in Do the Right Thing
I forgot about this one. One of my favourite films. Great opening credits and song.

Bob Dylan-The times they are a changing: Watchmen.
Came here to say this. Appropriate username 😆
pulp fiction
trainspotting
Can't remember the film name but the playover was Roll Away the Stone by Mott the Hoople. If Werewolves of London was at the intro of a Paul Newman film then I'd go for that (was it a sequel to the Hustler?).
I was gonna say Trainspotting, but looks like I've been beaten to it 😉
Forgot about this one, Manhattan - Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin
arf Flash
Dawn of the Dead - When the Man Comes Around.
Not the best film but the song sets an apocalyptic feel to it.
Peasants....
Not quite the opening scene, but the OH **** moment when he wanders out of the hospital for the first time in 28 Days Later, accompanied by Massive Attack always does it pretty well for me...
neilsonwheels has it. End of thread.
It's not quite the opening song but 'Uncle ****er' by Terence and Philip at the start of the South Park Movie was just incredible.
Lots of good ones already - Another Danny Boyle: the Free Blood track starting 127 Hours worked brilliantly, I thought.
I'd bought the album a few months before seeing the film and was thinking 'This is damn familiar!'
As far as all time faves though, this is up there
I like the intro of Cars for the music 🙂
