Used to love The Oatmeal, but not as funny as it used to be.

It wasn't meant to be funny. I thought it was quite insightful really ๐Ÿ™‚

That's why I've gone off him. Started surreal and amusing then went a bit meh IMO

I had no reaction to any of the statements he made

Lovely drawings as usual though. ๐Ÿ™‚

I got to "You can concede that it felt different to hear those statements" and my answer was No.
(maybe it was aimed at god bothering Americans)

I think they must be the type of thing that's taught in American schools, or common knowledge at early age in US.

It would be more interesting to read UK equivalents.

You can imagine the impact though, with a bit of mental effort.

The point still stands.

Well crafted and with some simple American to English instantaneous translation - very easy to grasp.

I think Americans are more pertinacious than us English are, about almost anything and everything, so the message "it's okay to consider new ways of thinking and accept that it might not be as you thought" is revolutionary.

Where as us English blokes hold and regularly exercise the right to change their mind at any given opportunity about anything.

No, not really. We all do it - just that Americans are much more likely to go on about their opinions.
