I should add - it's Invasion Day here, so public holiday. But just like the UK, it rained! I now have to wash my bike for the first time in nearly three years #firstworldsouthernhemisphereproblems

Thanks. Now I can see what all the fuss is about. No wonder it was pulled - it's disgusting and i'm disgusted.
For the life of me, i can't see the problem. But then i'm not a nutter, so phew!

Anyone offended? Not me, but irritated that my son has no doubt been using my computer for stuff I've asked him not to. Porn is fine but the games come crammed with nasties.
So what is the 1 tip for a sexy stomach?

Missed. The. Point.
But as I've said on many threads I don't really have a problem with sexy images. It's the violent ones that offend me. From over there>>>>>>>

I am sure we know it, but the biggest problem here is consistency. Whilst some get half clad laddies (lucky) some get sheds (maybe not so lucky) some of us get marking tape (me, why??)
It was never anyone intention to offend, form, style, function is one's own interpretation (why do we have so many wheel sizes)
But if a photo, is not banned in the first place, how can one say it is banned in another?
Right.
The issue is not with the pictures, it's with the intent behind the pictures.
There is and I think always has been a tendency for MEN to imagine women as simply a place to put one's penis, without considering the woman as a human being. I didn't really understand this at all til I spent a summer working with the council 😯 Now, if a man is talking like this about any pretty woman, then it would be reasonable to see it as a slight against woman-kind.
Now I'm sure there are many women who like to be treated as a sex object, but there are a great many who do not. So when men are behaving as above, it is offensive and a little upsetting.
I think this is down to what could be the underlying issue on which the feminist struggle is based. Most men could overpower most women and treat them as a sex object if they wanted, because on average we are bigger and stronger. I think this results in an underlying tension in many male/female interactions. On my last project at work for instance my two colleages were three inches taller than me, putting me in the unusual position of having to constantly look up at people during the ocnversation. It felt rather strange, and it did make me wonder about the gender balance.
So if you are 5'4 and 9st, and there's a 6'2 15st bloke talking in a very unpleasant way about rough sex, that must surely be quite indimidating.
So when you read a thread full of blokes oohing and aahing over women's looks, I can easily imagine how all the above issues would come to mind. It's all about baggage. I'm sure the majority of middle class STWers are quite enlightened and mostly feminist themselves, but it's important to remember that the readership doesn't know this generally, so whilst you are simply admiring a beautiful face from an aesthetic point of view, this is not always obvious. Especially if read by a woman who might have (or in fact probably has) experienced a lot of negativity in this particular area.
In fact most of the posters here are probably so middle class that they don't see anything wrong at all with what they are doing.
I have skimmed the thread in question, and there are some really beautiful people on it. But given all the unavoidable baggage associated with the act of admiring women in a non-personal context and over the internet, it's perhaps best to steer clear in case you upset someone without meaning to.
It's all well and good to say 'well I should be able to admire women without being considered sexist'. Yes, you should, but you can't, so don't. Simply doing it anyway isn't going to improve the situation.
No idea, but it looks like an attempt to associate a desirable image with a product to a certain section of the male population.
Very well put.
But
"come to mind" that is subjective, and who, can moderate that?
Do the people at STW realise the site attacts such quality advertising I wonder?
And another, this time the side and the top banner (no not you Mark! ) 😉

No-one. That's why tact and sensitivity are required. It's the internet, and what we write could be taken in a number of different ways.
Whats wrong with adverts for sheds (Garden office for the middle classes). I had a good perv around that advertisers site and got a little excited at what sort of shed you can actually get in your garden.
I'm going to give it one more go.
I really really don't care what you choose to look at, what I got pee'd off about was the fact that yet again on a thread pretending to be about music ( talented) they were actually discussing looks ( gorgeous) . Male musicians wouldn't be talked about like that. Men can't seem to see past whether a woman is "pretty" or not, doesn't matter if she's a brain surgeon, or whatever, men just seem to go " yeah, whatever, nice tits..." The images on there were just "pretty" women with nothing about their music, no links no albums references nothing.
The point I'm making ( very badly) is if you're going to Perv, then Perv, don't pretend to be admiring those musicians for their music when really, secretly , you just fancy a bit... Ok?
That's why mostly I don't care about the Kyle thread, I know it's not trying to be anything other than pictures of her in her pants ( someone buy that woman some clothes). But just don't dress up your perving as something else.
I'm going to give it one more go.
I'd give up if I were you. I hear what you're saying and I wouldn't really worry about a group of blokes that have to hide bike purchases from their wives/girlfriends.
Male musicians wouldn't be talked about like that
Every group of girls I've taught has contained females with a crush on some star or other. Take That, Boyzone (or however it's spelt). The conversation generally turns around how hunky they are and what it would be like to... .

Who says it is? (I haven't read the whole thread so a genuine question).

If that's you Edukator and all those ladies boots then granted that is a perversion,a relatively benign one though 😉

Just read emsz's last post.
I'd read that aswell (oops) and saw perv as this:
"Verb
perv (third-person singular simple present pervs, present participle perving, simple past and past participle perved)
(slang) To stare at others in a perverted manner, especially whilst thinking sexual thoughts about them."
Which is what I thought emsz was talking about. Pawn pages are where one goes to perv, a thread about music isn't. And trying to justify is quite amusing too.
