I'm off there in two weeks knocking around bangkok for couple of days until my friend travels up to Laos to visit her family. Then I'm traveling down south to meet a friend. Any must do's?

A huge market held on Saturdays - you can get there on the Skyway
Trip on the river.
Also try the waterbuses on the canals - completely mad!

Don't get caught out by the tuc-tuc drivers who want to take you to a taylor to get measured up for a suit you'll never get and make sure you agree the fare to where you are going.
Go to Cambodia if you have the time/chance.
And yes, the ladyboys - you'll be stunned 😉
