I've got an old Wild Country tent. It's disappointingly leaky now both through the fly sheet and the ground sheet.
Will Nikwax be worth a try or is there something else I should try, or would a proper tent repairist be a better option for reproofing?

I do believe Wild Country offer a re sealing and tent repair service.....if i was you i'd let the pros do it properly......assuming its not the price of a new tent!

From the Terra Nova/Wild Country website.
Q: How can I tell if my tent needs re-proofing?
A: Over time the coating on the outside of the fly-sheet will wear-off and the fabric will lose its shine and stop โbeadingโ water (water will no longer form droplets on the fabric and run off easily). The easiest way to rejuvenate the fabric is to apply a spray-on reproofer such as a reproofing product by Storm designed for use with lightweight nylon fabrics.

I have read suggestions of using a tube of silicone sealant, which is available cheap from DIY shops etc. Mix it with white spirit to thin it, then brush it on. Then hang the tent up to dry and air out for a while.
I have not tried this yet, I do have a leaky tent.
